Destiny 2: Bungie 30th Anniversary What We Know So Far
|Note: The Anniversary Pack isn't out yet. If you're looking for our seasonal guides, skip to the next section.|
The Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack is a DLC slated to release on December 7th, 2021. This bundle costs $25 USD and comes with the following content:
- A new six-player activity.
A pirate-themed dungeon located in the Cosmodrome's infamous loot cave.
- This dungeon rewards Gjallarhorn, an Exotic Rocket Launcher featured in the original Destiny.
- Eyesluna, Thousand-Yard Stare, and a Mythic-themed Sword are also rewards from this dungeon.
Three new armor sets
- Dungeon Armor: Thorn-themed
- Set #2: Marathon-themed
- Set #3: Themed around Bungie and some of their past games
- Legendary weapon ornaments
- A massive sandbox update
The six-player activity will be free for all players, but the dungeon and cosmetics are tied to the Anniversary Pack. To be clear, the 30th Anniversary Pack is not a season; Season of the Lost will continue to be the active season until The Witch Queen releases on February 22, 2021.
Is The 30th Anniversary Pack Tied To Season Of The Lost?
No. This is a separate DLC pack. Ownership of Season of the Lost does not grant ownership of this pack; you'll need to buy the 30th Anniversary Pack separately. It's unknown if the 30th Anniversary Pack's content will persist once Season of the Lost ends.
Can You Obtain Gjallarhorn Without The Anniversary Pack?
No. The 30th Anniversary Pack is required to access the Cosmodrome dungeon that drops Gjallarhorn.
What Do The 30th Anniversary Pack Armor Sets Look Like?
Consult the image gallery above. The armor sets are shown in this order:
